If you don't have a calculator with the Square Root button, you can always use excel. Just right in the formula bar using excel language, if you don't know it use the help feature. I typed your question in like this:
=(7+(SQRT(7)))*(7+(SQRT(7))). Then when you type enter it works it out just like a calculator. It's a verry handy feature of Excel, and a good one to get familiar with. It comes up with the right answer, which has already been said.

If you multiply it out, you get 7*7 + 7*sqrt(7) + 7*sqrt(7) + sqrt(7) * sqrt(7). So that's 56 + 14sqrt(7).

(7+sqr7)(7+sqr7)
=(7+sqr7)^2
=7^2+(sqr7)^2+2*7*sqr7
=49+7+14sqr7
=56+14sqr7
=14(4+sqr7)

P.S sqr means square root
