Naturally it would only help raise the status of TNA if Orton were to go there. Althou I find it unlikely that he would jump ship. He could have a great career in WWE, they have already proven that they are willing to cut him slack over his immature behavior, so obviously they have long term hopes for him.

On pro wrestling .com it was said that randy orton`s contract comes to an end in may but he is negotiating a long term deal.

TNA does not need him.
Orton is way overrated. He has very limited in ring ability and his mic skills are average at best. Throw in all of his baggage and you could potentially have a locker room cancer.

Well I always thought TNA couldn't get any worse, but if TNA took Orton, that would have proven me wrong, though I would make it a note to buy 2 more televisions and have them all tuned into WWE at the same time if they get rid of Orton!! He blows!

for the TNA question, i already watch TNA. and if orton leaves then wwe won't many good heels anymore.
