Forgiveness and not tearing down the other person despite our own difficulties are good values.
I can place myself in the mind of Cho, the shooter, as he was a very lonely person, socially excluded, racially discriminated and bullied during junior school. For those who have been bullied, this is contiuous bullying, not a one off occasional thing and something not forgotten nor forgiven. The bullies are usually teacher's pets whilst the other kids do not want to defend him for fear of being targetted. Hence without the help or protection from teacher or fellow students, such a person without forgiveness can turn to violence.
I do not see him as being deranged as he was able to plan out the shootings. But I can imagine the pain and suffering he has been through without anyone to turn to. Non-religious folk will think what comes around goes around, an eye for an eye, nothing more, nothing less. Those who believe in God will see that forgiveness of our enemies is what is required, in fact, the bible says love thy enemy, how many can claim to practise this every day ?
A sad event nonetheless and I doubt many have learnt from this life's lesson to treat each other with kindness, especially when the going gets tough. Finger pointing is to save face and be that standing poppy, but humility is needed instead of the all too frequent reaction of impatience and anger.

I do feel sorry for all the people who died in VT. I think Cho Seung- Hui should have gotten some help. I just wish that he didn't kill all of those people. It is something to kill youself, but kill 32 other people. I just feel sorry for all the familys and friends.

I agree that Virginia Tech is a miles better soccer team than while they performed LSU. I additionally agree that if BC would not blow them out, that would not advise BC can not compete with LSU. I additionally think of it's going to be close.. VT has a brilliant protection yet an ok offense. BC has a brilliant offense yet an ok protection. won't have the capacity to await this activity!!! yet i do disagree on the out come. I skinny VT will win with a blocked punt for the bypass forward score.. I provide the ease to VT basically because of the fact the domicile field benefit. Sorry BC i think of you have the aptitude to drop a minimum of two out of the subsequent 5. And no i'm no longer a VT fan!!!

I feel sorry for the people who were killed or injured.. I feel sorry for their friends and families as well. However, I don't pity Cho at all. Even if he was bullied, abused, etc., he still had the choice. There is no excuse for someone who kills people and then feels no remorse.

I have the deepest sympathies for all the victims, but not the killer. I am however relieved for my friend whose brother goes there and is fine.
