Hi Richard,
I didn't particularly like horses growing up. But when I married my husband ( he has horse blood) a whole new world opened up for me. We have three Icelandic Horses right now. (ie.threeicys) I have deep affection for each one. They are so fascinating. Such different personalities. I love riding the trails. Up here in the mountains you can see views that otherwise you would not be able to. Magnificent.
Horses make life richer.

Love horses. Long to go horse back riding. I used to ride the ponies when I was a lad at the local amusement park, but I've never been riding on a full sized horsie. I admire them for the strong, beautiful animals they are. I love to watch them run. So I go to the track to enjoy that, although I don't gamble.

We had two Belgians when I was growing up and we used them on the farm. They could have thrown me into the next country with a toss of their head, but they let me lead them wherever I wanted. Their feet where the size of dinner plates and if they hit you with a tail swish it would leave marks. The best part was feeding them and taking them for a drink. It looked like they could drink 30 gallons.

I had two when I was growing up and then 6 after I was all grown up. I can still smell the smell of the barn, leater and horse smells. awww those were the days. I miss having horses but my age and disability won't allow me to have any more.

I grew up with 2 Arab's 1 Lipizzan and a Welsh pony! they are great! but i don't miss cleaning up after them or the fly's!

one.. My favorite is Palominos,but I like them all.
