How many different occupations have you had and what were they?

I have worked as a carpenter, electrician, roofer, surveyor's assistant, fireman, automotive test technician, automotive research and developement test supervisor, and giggalo(just kidding on the last one - but made you look!!)

Richard I will list them.
1. I use to lingere model...not the sleazy stuff!!!
2.I was a bartender in N.Y. at the Holiday Inn
3. I was a social worker for children services.
4. I was a mother..she is grown now..but I always will be a mother..just I don't have to raise her now! LOL
5. Also was a foster parent...and am so proud of him!!!
6. When I moved to Dallas..1st job was child care.
7. Then became a assistant manager for a property.
8. Went back to college...while in school...bartended
9. Then 2 jobs..1 I was assistant manager at another property...2nd job...part time..sold fine jewelry..had to go to more school..for stones..we sold alot of loose diamonds..rubies..emeralds..but we were the largest retailer of opals in the DFW area..so believe me I know about opals! LOL!!! Biggest sale I had was 1 opal..sold it to a surgeon for $40,000 made my day!!!!
Then stayed at the property became manager of that residential property for 10 yrs.
Left that property and became manager for a new property..then managed 2 properties..then also a HOA property.
Then became VP for M.P.M
Now am 50% owner in my own company heating..airconditioning..refrigeration...you name it. We do residential and all commercial. This is our 9th year in business. It has been hard..scary..and without a doubt very rewarding.

My goodness, you have been a busy person! Some sound really interesting. I haven't been as lucky. I have worked as a waitress, a bartender, a restaurant co-owner, H& R tax preparer, tax preparer for a CPA office, a bookkeeper at a collection agency, a correctional officer, a payroll clerk, an accounting clerk, and an accountant.

I was lucky to retire early on my accountant wages. Yeah!
Some people never want to retire. I was not one of them.

I love sleeping as late as I want to and doing as I please, when I please.

I also am now raising 3 young grandsons, two of whom I have been given the privilege of being able to adopt, with one more to go. Since retiring, I've been able to enjoy them much more by spending more time with them taking them to their sport activities, etc.

Thanks for the great question. I enjoy seeing and answering ones that have some context to them.

I have been a web designer, painter, photographer, fast food dork, customer service rep, and my worst job was a place called Discovery Zone, where you had to wear a clown suit and dance on tables for little kids...wow i don't miss that!
