Does anyone understand them? I mean in Florida they say: 'in the busy ant empire, put all your clothes inside'
I absolutely love them, I live where they got started (Issaquah, WA), but I have no idea what the hell they are talking about

Sometimes I find as a song writer, famous artist just seem to put together segmented ideas, memories and thoughts. Sort of like some writers do with "stream of consciousness" writing. Whatever comes into their head is put into lyrics whether it makes sense or not.
As a Modest Mouse fan I too wonder what they were exactly thinking but honestly to enjoy the music I could care less. :) Good to hear about other fans!

sometimes that is the best music Beck, Presidents of the USA, Modest Mouse they are great because they make no sense i love it
