I have asked for my lease agreement several times and my landlord only tells me that "yes I can have a copy" but I get nothing. What can I do? This has been going on since Feb 07.

If you really want a copy , you go to the office in person and pick it up . & you must have signed it , why didn't you just copy it then ?

Anyway , sometimes landlords don't want to continue leases . . .
Maybe they have shifted you to a month to month so they can get the place vacated for a relative or a sale or . . .

Make it a written request, and on top have it dated and include centered on top, "presonally delivered"
Or you can send it in the mail as I just said, but have it signed for, so you have it documented that he is in receipt of your request, so you can have it documented just how long time elapsed after your written request.

P.S. Dont forget to include that after xx months and xx request in your letter you have not recieved a copy.

Hopefully this type of professionalism would trigger him to realize youre meaning business now.
