The Federal Communications Commission has let the citizen's bands go - and no longer enforces the federal laws that govern use of cb radios.
Prior to the Bush administration, the FCC was able to confiscate radios and fine offenders, but W has them on a short leash.
It's a shame, too. The cb community used to be a civilized place.

CB Stands for Citizens band, not childrens band. Foul language has become the Norm On CB.
Perhaps you should look into HAM Radio.

Children's Band? What turnip truck did you fall off?
CB's are for freeway truckers. Every other word from them is foul. That has been that way since the 70's.
Watch out for bears in the air, 10-4.

What exactly is it you are asking?
BTW, for those who have never heard it before the CB has been referred to as the 'children's band' for many years because of all the juvenile language & such heard over the air.

I don't have a CB on any of my motorcycles.I have them in my trucks and on my tractors so I can call back to the house if I need something,Surely you didn't expect to have intelligent conversations on the thing.
