Ditto to FWF admin. I would only add to feed it right before lights out and leave it over night. They eat at night as well and may be more willing to try it then.

Algae eaters devour algae and consequently they might no longer want something different than the algae they collect by employing themselves. attempt feeding some frozen bloodworms; they are very tasty and enticing. If his abdomen is caved then you certainly understand he's no longer ingesting yet while he has a flat abdomen then he's high-quality, for now attempt to feed some particularly tasty ingredients so as that he a minimum of eats something. Feed you goldfish first and then place the Pleco nutrition down next to him and with any luck he would be services to devour it earlier they do. good success!

While I agree with the other posters they may not realize its food. Don't take it out after a day!!! Give them more time than a day. Many pleco prefer their food very soft. My rubber lipped pleco often waits till the next day to chow down. Also be sure to try thinner slices. I find this works best with hard food like broccoli stems, and carrots. (I'm not sure my rubber lipped pleco eats the carrots, as I've also got a clown pleco in the tank.)

pull out the cucumbers, before they get nasty, and foul the water. how did you sink the cucumber ?? some pleco's ,and algae eaters will nibble on them, but if its not gone in 30 minutes or so , take it out. some plecos like to nibble on driftwood, so i suggest you get a piece in there with them. the other benifit of driftwood is it will help maintian the ph of your water for the fish , because the "rotting log" keeps the tank at a stable ph balance.

If you have never fed cucumber before than it is likely that they simply do not realize it is food yet. Keep up and eventually they will take notice. Make sure not to leave the same piece in there for more than a say or you will have water problems as the cucumber starts to rot. Switch it out for a new piece every day.

I do agree with the other posters in that if its new, they may not realize it is food yet. Also, did you blanche it?
I use zucchini, but blanche it first (partially boil it).
