Aside from the natural choice of flight, heightened senses or ability to breathe underwater, I would take one of the sea cucumbers special abilities. It has the ability to turn itself inside out and expel its internal organs to distract predators while it gets away. Imagine how much fun that would be at a party! Everyone would laugh and want to be your friend!

I find it fascinating to watch dolphins swim. I know how to swim, but I think it would be awesome to know what it feels like to swim with the speed and agility of a dolphin. Pelicans are also fascinating to watch. To see one on the ground they just don't look like they could fly all that well. But to see them in a V pattern flying over the oceans shore, they seem like the most graceful birds.
