Those were the good old days here too. but a lot of people still do it. we can have sparklers and certian types of firework and that is about it.

Yes, what fun. We used to go to the creek and have bottle rocket wars. Now you can't even buy them. Where I live it is illegal to have any type of fireworks in your possession. None are even allowed in the county. But the city does put on a spectacular show.

yes, we used shoot off m-80's and cherry bombs, and the older men would fire off sticks of dynamite and shoot anvils up in the air.... you can't even buy any of those today, and if you lit one off they'd arrest you..... this country's turning into a police state...... too many laws, lawyers, politicians and police... not enough personal responsibility, therefore less freedom.....

Yeah, those were good times. i think it was still illegal when i was alive, im only 15, but we used to still get them. fun stuff.
