What if you had to live off of $643/month income & pay $325 rent?

Question

Can you survive off of that, KNOWING you got to pay for transportation? Should I get a job? I don't mean to sound unappreciative of my SSI & Social Security benefits, but it's not enough. I have a college degree & can't find any jobs, & I have a mental disability.

I'm going to be starting grad school soon. Teens who work @ fast food restaurants make more than I do.

Try to find a job that is close to home that maybe you can walk too. Have you tried grocery stores? We all struggle with hard time hang in there candy! God has plan for you.....maybe a casserole restarant!! :) goodluck!!

You should be able to get help with your housing with a housing voucher program (section 8). Then try to get at least apart time job or go to a temp agency so you can also get experience in a field too. Good luck.
Just google housing voucher and put in your state and see what you can find.

Hmm How many bedrooms do you have ?? do you have children ?? I'm taking that you do ..If you had an extra bedroom room you could rent it out ....You may also be able to qualify for food stamps or other aid ..You should foward your resume to a temp agency they always have pretty good wages and Yes , you should get a job .. wait How are you getting on the Internet ?! if you have time to surf you have time to work

you think thats bad .. .try doing the same thing 'with 'children to take care of on your own[cause that's what happens too]yup poverty sucks..keep looking for some part time work.and don't get pregnant........lots of people put them selves through colledge working at the fast food outlets.. good luckkk
