i am trying to sell some old toy's. does it depend on where you live for how much it costs to put an add in the paper for a yard sale. we had one last year and my dad put an add in the paper for it and i'm not sure how much it cost. anyway's please help. thanks to all who answer.

Call the newspaper and ask them.

It can depend on the newspaper. In some areas, there are papers that will advertise garage sales for free, as a way to boost circulation because they figure people will buy it for their huuuuuuggggeeee garage sale advertising section.

Depending on the neighborhood, a few signs will do more than a print ad.

Different papers charge different rates, and some even put your info on the net for you. Most papers publish their rates in every issue they include ads in. Pick out papers that have high readerships for the best results.
