1/8000 mi into inches is 7.92 inches
There are 5, 280 ft. in a mile and since there are 12 inches in a foot then 12 x 5280 must be the number of inches in 1 mile.
12 x 5280 = 63,360
There are 63,360 inches in 1 mile.
You need to find 1/8000 of a mile or 1/8000 of 63,360
63,360 / 8000 = 7.92

1 mile = 5280 feet
1 foot = 12 inches
5280/8000 = .66 feet
.66 feet = .66*12inches
= 7.92 inches
I'm pretty sure this is correct. :)
