Good sound legal advice from Gonzalez would be for Bush/Cheney to resign too. All would be heroes in the eyes of America. Finally, President Pelosi could right the ship, tax the rich and fix our schools and extend healthcare to all. What are your opinions?

Democrats don't want Bush and Cheney out of office. That's what helped them in the last election.
Gonzalez will probably resign, but that depends on Bush. If Bush says "Gonzalez has done a heckuva job..." then Gonzalez will resign shortly thereafter. That statement is sort of like the red shirt guy in the old Star Trek. You knew that guy was going to die.
If democrats really stood behind their convinctions, then they would order impeachment proceedings. Instead, they'll use Bush and Cheny like a political poison pill in order to better ensure their chances of having voters vote democrat just to get that "Republican Aftertaste" out of their mouths.
I'm not particularly impressed with the Democrats. But I suppose they're remembering the political mud fest that was the Clinton impeachment hearings and don't want to burn what little political advantage they have now in chasing an impeachment that probably won't happen because the Democrats don't have enough of a majority to pull it off.

This should have all been done at the same time Rumsfeld put his resignation in. This "BushCo" thing has gone way too long already.
