I sat down this afternoon and watched To Sir with Love on Turner Classics. It was refreshing to say the least (not to mention that Sidney P. was hot).

So what is your favorite older movie? I might have found a whole new hobby.

I recorded "To Sir, With Love" this afternoon. It's one of my all-time favorites. Sidney Poitier is a class act.

I also like Rear Window, Meet Me In St. Louis, Jezabelle, Gone With the Wind, Yours, Mine & Ours, Rebel Without a Cause, West Side Story, The Grapes of Wrath

Thank god a kid with a clue. There are very few movies worth a crap today but I did enjoy the last James Bond movie. Anyway; Little Big Man is my favorite movie of all time. If you like that then email me and I will send you a list.

Funny you mentioned "To Sir With Love"..I was thinking of renting that..I haven't seen it since it was in the movies back in 1967. It was a very good movie.

I like to watch old Hitchcock movies like North By NorthWest andThe Birds..or Spencer Tracy in Bad Day At Black Rock..or old war movies like Battle Of The Bulge..CLASSICS!!! :-)

With Six You Get Egg roll Doris Day
Yours, Mine and Ours Lucille Ball, Henry Fonda

I agree with you that the old movies are wonderful. Nobodies head gets chopped off, nobody steals a car in 60 seconds, theyre just really sweet and relaxing. Youre left with a wonderful feeling after watching one of those.

Good question hon, thanks for the memories! Bob Hope....loved him as well!
