No. Everyone, no matter what orientation should be allowed to marry.

I don't think it's right because I thought ALL people were created equal. Just because someone is either gay or lesbian shouldn't limit them to getting married. It's rather stupid, and personally, I hate Bush or whoever put that idea out there. To me, this is NOT the land of the free.

So what if it against someones belief! Do they have any idea how many beliefs are out here? This was all done because someone didn't like gays and lesbians. Two words to them, drop dead. My mom couldn't get married, and that means in the future I can't get married here. I guess we who want to get married have to go else where.

Better yet, what does it matter if someone has a paper saying they are married? I don't think it's right at all. It's pitiful! Land of the free, give me a break...

I do not believe there should be restrictions in where homosexual couples marry. I mean, we have some of the hetrosexual couples claiming that it will ruin the whole meaning, but its like "Dear, what do you call divorce?" I mean do you think that anything can ruin what has already been trashed?
You know what really makes marriage look bad?
People like Brittney spears, who get married, and then decide that they have better things to do with their lives, so they get it anulled(sp?)
I mean, come on, marriage is already a joke, nothing can make it any worse.

I think gays and lesbians and whoever else that wants to get married should be able to does it really affect you if they do? If you don't like gay marriage then don't marry one besides if they want to be miserable being married then let em how would it be fair if marriage was banned for everyone

No it is not right that gay people can not be married in some states.

What that says is "You are a second class citizen and are not important even though you pay taxes like everyone else, have feelings like everyone else and breathe and bleed like everyone else"

"It does not matter that you have been with your Partner for 30 years, when he is in the hospital, you have no visitation rights. When he dies, you get NOTHING unless he spends extra money to specify so in a Will. His family, even if they disowned him 30 years ago, will get EVERYTHING by law."

PLEASE... do NOT get me started!!!!

I personally am not gay, but I don't think it's right that they can't marry. They're people who are in love and I think they deserve the respect that straight people get. It shouldn't be a big deal who they want to marry, they're in love!

Jah didn't put men and women on dis earth to marry one another. What good is going to come out of same sex marriages. Little children will see them and think this is the right thing to do.Think about it ...would u like ur son or daughter marrying someone of the same sex? It is bad enough that people are in same sex relationships but marriage is something extreme so i think its right gays/lesbians cant marry in certain states.

comparable intercourse couples can get Civil Partnerships. My better half and that i've got one. this is as good as 'being married' .. legally. i could vote confident to gay marriage .. confident yet certainly does no longer 'get married' myself.

It's not right. Gays/lesbians are different people. It's pretty sad that society just can't accpet that.

I agree with Josh all the way!!!! I mean seriously, ALL ARE SUPPOSED TO BE TREATED EQUALLY!!!!!!!!! Straight people shouldn't be the only people equally treated. It's wrong to have to single out people like that.
