You should have no problems. In fact, go ahead and shoot sandstorm and see how well you can do.

No, you are not at all too short. My son is 4' 6" tall. He's still growing. In the last few years the firearms industry has started to make rifles and shotguns for people of shorter stature. They or usually called youth models. My son shots a Rossi .243 that also comes with .50 caliber muzzle loader barrel. I think I paid about $250 for the set. Just walk into your local sporting good store and explain your situation and desired game to the salesperson. I'm sure they will be happy to set you up. I would highly recommend the Rossi, but that's just my personal choice for my son and daughter.

no I live on a farm so I've been firing guns of all makes and models for as long as I can remember...height won't be your problem just some guns have a very significant kick that can make a grown man cry if he doesn't hold them right...so start small til you have the feel and control of your gun I recommend starting with a .22 long rifle...it's not big enough for big game hunting but it has no kick at all and is an excellent way to learn...

Actually, being short might be an advantage for two reasons...
First, it gives you a lower center of mass and will make you more stable when firing the rifle.
Secondly, it might also make it easier for you to conceal yourself from the wildlife, if needed.

No. Height is not as important as strength. It depends on what kind of rifle you are going to be using.

I like the short temper answer. Are you done growing? If so then you may as well just join a circus you are one short mothereffer. I guess if you got a sawed off shotgun you will be just fine just please aim away from people unless my mother in law is in the vicinity then by all means...

no not if you know how to shoot. but judging by the Q that's not likely. It also depends a lot on what kind of rife. Mini Me could shoot a .22!
