First, factor out an "x" term to get x(5x^2 -10x -15), then you can factor out a 5 to get 5x(x^2 -2x - 3). You can then use FOIL on the part in parentheses to get 5x(x - 3)(x + 1). The solutions are 0, 3, and -1, or the terms that would cause the equation to equal zero.

5x^3 - 10x^2 - 15x
= 5x(x^2 - 2x -3)
= (5x)(x-3)(x+1)
x=0, 3, -1

5x^3 - 10x^2 - 15x = 0
5x(x^2 - 2x - 3) = 0
5x(x - 3)(x + 1) = 0
x = 0, 3, -1

You wouldn;t use the FOIL method because that is for multiplying two binomials.
