Okay, this is gonna sound stupid.. My roommate told me that I looked like a character from anime. She doesn't watch anime, so she didn't mean any character in particular. She said that my facial structure and sharp eyeliner (it's not sharp in a bad way.. at least I don't think so) reminds her of anime. Do you think this is a good or bad thing?

A lot of guys watch anime, so most of the female characters are made to look hot. So I would say if you resemble them, you by extension must look hot. Also she may be trying to say that the way you do your eye makekup makes your eyes look slanty like asian eyes. You can take that as good or bad, depending on your preference.

I truthfully don't know. I know a lot of people that dress like anime people for a reason, but if you just did your regular make-up and your roommate said that to you, I don't know. It all depends on how you see it. If you like the compliment of being called from an anime, than it's good, but if you don't and prefer to be normal and nothing else, than it can be 1) bad or 2) weird.

Personally, I think the women in anime cartoons are beautiful so if it were me I'd take it as a compliment. You have to think about the context that she said it to you in. Was she laughing or had a disgusted look on her face, is she usually one to put others down or freely give credit where credit is due. But you should really take it how you view anime your self. If someone were to call you a b*&%h, do you consider yourself one & take it as a compliment? It's ment to be a put down but people put value on what ever they want. If you're still confused just ask her.
