The Simpsons went on the air in late 1989. My daughter (17) was born about the same time. She says that it CAN never go off the air or she will die -- so don't wish that it would!!!! Her very life depends on it!!!!!

I really don't know but I think they are long past their prime I mean I really love the show they have to call it quits soon.
