Voting record on what? Americans generally only vote in state and national elections and the percentage of those who excercise this privelage is generally very low in comparison to other democratic countries around the world. In Iraq, when the first elections were held to elect the new representatives to their parliment, between 80 and 90% of the people voted, even under the threat of death and bombings. The US is lucky to 55% of the population to vote in the Presidential elections. And it is probably a good thing as most Americans have very little idea as to what the issues are and what the candidates actually stand for in these elections.
If you are referring to the parties that they tend to vote for, then that"s a different story. In the US there are really only 2 viable options, Democrats and Republicans. In other countries, there are generally more options. For instance , in Italy, there are as many as 9 different factions represented in their government.
