Constants are just numbers...

not a variable... just a number...
like in this expression:

5x + 12

12 is a constant

A mathematical constant is a quantity, usually a real number or a complex number, that arises naturally in mathematics and does not change. Unlike physical constants, mathematical constants are defined independently of any physical measurement.

Sorta like... 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. they don't change.

If X = 2a the number 2 is a constant, because it will NEVER change, A could be any number, therefore it is a variable.

A Constant is something that is - Continually occurring; persistent.

Hope this helps!

Constants are rational or irrational numbers that never change their value. For example rationa numbers such as 6, 71/29, 1941, etc never change their value. They remain constant, no matter what. If we say y = 3x, then 3 is a constant. x can take on different values and y will thus take on different values, but 3 always =3. Three is a constant.

There are many famous irrational constants such as pi, which is the ratio of the circumference of any circle divided by its diameter. Others include e, the base of natural logarithms, c, the speed of light, Planck's constant, etc.

If your talkin about a constant variable, then it's the thing that stays the same, and or is what you base everything on, like the constant if trying to grow a plant and seeing what makes its grow better or worse could be, having the plant there and not giving it water or anything like that, keeping it out of sunlight, and the other variables would be water only sunlight only or water and sunlight both. Hope i helped m8! But im not 100% sure about what your askin

Constants are numbers that do not change during the course of your project. This can include the force of gravity and other things that do not depend on what you do.
