I guess I'm really different. I would like some stars, because that would mean someone really appreciated my question. Points and levels mean nothing to me. One question , someone asked me , "Why do you care, We're only here to have fun"
I do care, some of these question are serious , deep , emotional and they're those that want to die. they all deserve honest answers.
What's your goal here?

I don't care about points. I like to try and give good answers. I like to think that sometimes I can give someone some good advice or make someone laugh.

Well I want all of the above. I ask fun questions and I've asked serious questions where I needed a real answer. I would like to get the points because I like the free stuff that Yahoo gives out. I want stars so I know that people liked my question either it be for fun or serious. My goal is to have fun and help those who post serious questions.

1. Helping others.
2. Getting a laugh, providing a laugh (never to the point of getting reported, that's childish).
3. Making Level 5 so I can answer everything (mission accomplished).
4. Getting as many Top Contributor badges as I can.

Here's a star. I'm here for the giggles, maybe I can help someone with something I know, fun, people, friends, the points are secondary.
I just wish I'd get some answers when I ask a question.

My goal is to build my way up the levels, but Trying to Answer questions with Answers that are thoughtful, or are humorous. I don't like the Gaming of Points. I would rather try to get my points by getting Best Answers, than Answering questions with as little info. as possible.

I like getting to the higher levels, so I can give more good answers. I get unlimited answers the next level up. I also like the people on here. I appreciate they're good questions.

I like to be helpful. I also like getting answers around the clock. I just want to be a contributing member. I guess I really don't care if someone thinks my question is star worthy. I usually need an answer.

It started out as pure entertainment and points, then it became sort of a sociological survey to see what people think. Most recently, I've started to make a few friends.
Perfectly reasonable question, and for that, you get a star.

While I can understand your point, stars mean little to me since people started their "Will you give me a star?" questions and getting dozens of stars for it.
I would rather have best answers, not because of the points, but because it shows that I have actually done something that means something to someone.
Anyway, as others have said, enjoy yourself. . .
