.Inverse variation graphs contain two parts.What are these parts called?
2.solve 4+5^x=52
3.solve x^2 +12x-5+0

The first one is an exponential equation - you'll have to use logs to find this one out:

4 + 5^x = 52
5^x = 48
xlog5 = log48
x = log48 / log5
x ~ 2.4053

The second one is best solved using the quadratic equation:

x = [-b +/- sqrt(b^2 - 4ac)] / 2a
x = [-12 +/- sqrt(12^2 - 4(1)(-5))] / 2(1)
x = [-12 +/- sqrt(144 + 20)] / 2
x = [-12 +/- sqrt(164)] / 2
x ~ 0.4031, -12.4031
