there was a haunting song about a woman that he had to share with another man, I don't know the name of this song, but one line is , when the one you love is one with someone else. I have enjoyed this song for year's.

My Heart Can't Tell You No. The drums on that song are by the late Tony Thompson, who also drummed for the disco band Chic and the rock band The Power Station.
I love a bunch of Rod Stewart songs. Hot Legs, Young Turks and Passion are favorites.

I like my Heart can't tell me no as well, but for years and years and years my absoulute favorite song by Rod Stewart has been Reason to Believe, which was on the flip side of Maggie May when it hit number one.

That's My Heart Can't Tell You No. My fave is probably Downtown Train even though it is originally a Tom Waits song. Waits is a great writer. Forever Young is one of my Favs from Rod too.
