yesterday i tested to see if i was ovulating and i wasn't...?

today i tested and i was i did the deed twice and was just wondering what are my chances of conceiving and if i wasnt ovulating eysterday does that mean i caught it at a good time?

I think you're probably fine. My husband and I started a few days before ovulating b/c sperm lasts around 5 days. I had a test and when it turned dark purple showing I was ovulating we did it again and then I made sure to put my hips up in the air for a few minutes. Low and behold, first time we tried, I was pregnant and I'm 23 weeks along now. Good luck!

When you get a positive ovulation test it does not mean you are ovulating right when you take the test. It means you will ovulate in the next 24-36 hours so probably tomorrow. Have sex today and then again tomorrow for the best odds. The average couple has a 20% chance if intercourse is timed properly.

I have to say, although we watch this ovulation calendar thing like a hawk ... you can get pregnant at any time. Of course the ovulation thing pushes your changes WAY high. But any time you have unprotected sex is a good time!

P.S. a few days before ovulation are the best :)

some of those tests are not worth messing with. some can be wrong. i tryed doing those and was nothing but a headache. i just had sex 3 days before my period started and everyday for 3 days and then if i had a period i would do it for 3 days after that i am now 9 months pregnant it worked for me..

sperm lives for about 72 hours so u could have had sex yesterday and gotten pregnant two days later. u did catch it at a good time
