Life. Life makes me continue on. It is easy to predict and to plan what the next day will bring. But if I slow down and observe my environment, then usually something, no matter how small, will make me smile. Watching kids play in a puddle, or watching a bird take a bath. All are examples of living life in the moment. If you live life on a schedule take a minute or two out of your schedule, to watch what others take for grant it. It will inspire you to keep on moving.

I found myself asking that same question often. I never was able to give myself a truthful answer until I looked at myself in the mirror feeling sorry for myself and all of a sudden I thought of my husbands niece who was just 18 months older than me who had a stroke and 10days later passed away in March 2001. Leaving behind my 2 month old grandniece, now 6years old knowing her mother died when she was a baby but doesn't understand why she is not here with us.
Someone is on this earth who you are continuing on for or you would have left us already.everyone has someone who is making them want to stay here. It is just tougher for some people to want to stay here on earth than others. Some people have to be reminded why this is all worth it.Who ever that person (or dog, cat, monkey, bird or maybe you have to stay here to feed those fish) might be, think of him /her when you asked yourself that question. But take it from someone who has thought about your questions many times a week sometimes many times a day. the fight is worth it, even whe you think its not.

Life is a neverending rollarcoster of adventure, sorrow, happiness, love, passion, solitude, envy and more. If we don't learn about life, we certainly cannot learn about ourselves. I continue in life because I enjoy learning new things everyday, life moves quickly and there is only so much time to do the things we want.

Not wanting to cop out on my kids; trying to make sure they get as good a start in life as possible; knowing others perservere under much worse conditions; the thought that I might have been put here for a good reason, AND STRANGELY, MOLLY'S ANSWER, TOO!

The fact that my late husband would want me to go on with life. To someday have a new husband and be happy again. So I have to keep living life to the fullest to find happiness.

The fact that I hate giving up; don't want to lie down so to speak without at least giving it all I got. The word suicide in null and void in my vocabulary, giving up is in the same category. Keep on keeping on is my motto. The glass may look empty but it's full of air and at least that's something.

Love and hope. Also the fact that I'm here and there's no getting out of it, so I might as well make the most of it.

I'm very curious to see what my genes + the genes of my future husband will create!!

Then I have to nurture our "creation" to become a witty, slightly kooky, daredevilish, athletic, highly intelligent, congenial, empathetic, loveable person -- like her mother :)

(did I forget to mention slightly narcissistic - lol)
