There are no facts with this question, only theory.

Here is mine....

A ghost is a human soul (or animal) that has remained on earth's lower vibration for various reasons. I.e. They are still wounded or lost, or waiting for a loved one, etc.

A spirit is a guide or other intelligent energy, that has a higher vibration and can come and go as they please. If they choose to be back on our earth plane, it's possibly to help bring us to enlightenment by raising our vibration for various reasons or needs.

A ghost is usually thought of as human.
A spirit may be almost anything.

All living people have spirits.

a ghost is a shadow of a person thats dead.

a spirit is the soul of a person that can be dead or alive (in the case of alive, the body is as of the time u c them unconcious since the spirit isn't in the body)

Ghost are truly dead people but spirits are Hobgoblins You have to be careful because Hobgoblins hang out in graveyards and try to fool people into thinking they are ghost. Never invite a Hobgoblin into your home. I have to go good luck.
