Honestly, I wasn't educated at all with the History of John Lennon. But I was curious so I did research and watched a movie "The Us VS. John Lennon"
It was an inspiring movie that made me realize that how he was and his ways of thinking reminded me myself of how I thought. If John Lennon were alive today he would be like a best friend to me. We think alike. John Lennon was not only with The Beatles with good times ahead. But what he did was right. There should be peace. And he did bring home the troops in the 60's. But why dont we do the same now and bring home are troops?
People shouldnt be afraid of a higher power of the law. No matter where your at or how far you've gone or where you will end up but I will tell the world this right now. Give Peace A Chance. Theres no other way if we dont get along. John and Yoko are so far the couple that could make the definition of true love. They didnt care how hot they looked or what there doing as long as it was together. The Goverment hates competition and thats exactly what they got from John Lennon. If I where to protest and bring people together as it was done in the 60's and 70's it would bring back the Revolution and Peace to my life and everyone in between.
No life is made to be an idea he's still alive in our mind and soul.

John Lennon was an amazing human being. He had to overcome many hardships growing up, including having his father walk out on him and the death of his mother. He found success with The Beatles, but he still had many issues going on in his personal life.

When he met Yoko Ono, something about him changed and he became a well-known advocate for peace. His songs, his appearances, and his life were all about saving the world from itself and living a life of peace and well-being.

The famous bed-in with Yoko proved to be a media frenzy. It wasn't meant to be anything like that, but I think because there was finally something NOT about death or poverty or sadness on the news that Lennon's peace talks became so intensified.

If you haven't seen "The U.S. VS. John Lennon" it is a must-see. The U.S. government was so threatened by this ONE MAN and his positive mission for peace that he was to be deported. Simply unbelieveable.

Lennon's death was an injustice to the world. His creativity, his passion, and his dreams are something that this world really needed and are sorely missed. It can only make one wonder what could be if we "give peace a chance". Maybe tragedies like Columbine and Virginia Tech never would've happened.

He was a dreamer, but he wasn't the only one.

Imagine...

i believe if the man was able to leave a legacy,it would have been against the gun laws in America, especially with all the school horror murders since his death,if u just learn the immortal words "give peace a chance"and reflect on it ,i am sure u will be well educated, from the great man himself.

You should see the movie "The US vs. John Lennon" - I learned a lot about him and the antiwar movement watching it.

I suggest you do a search on his name. There were many facets to John and a few lessons to be learned. His assasination was a stupid tragedy perpetrated by a deranged person.

If people are unacceptable of Jesus Christ as being their Savior, or of GOD as the Supreme Being, then what makes John Lennon any better? Even before John Lennon, there was Martin Luther King who had a dream!

Our Father thou art in heaven hollow be thy name thy kingdom come. Thy will be done. On earth as it is in heaven...

you can learn that non violence does work, as john lennon used non violence in his protests to spread his message. also you learn that sometimes you have to stand up for what you believe in... his assassination... well it was kinda random... the person who killed him thought he was a phony, and killed him based on that
