There are a TON of places on the internet that you can order your birth certificate. All you need to know is your social security number and the city and state that you were born in. They will then mail you an official copy of your birth certificate!! I hope this helps, however, its sad that you felt the need to run away. I hope you know how scared you have probably made your parents. Take care of yourself and remember that you can ALWAYS go home!!

Well I am not sure about the rules in the US, here in Canada, once you hit the age of 16 you can apply to get your own certificate. The catch is that it is sent to your parents known address.

Aw 17 and a run away. Sweety, try and work things out with your parents/guardian, life is to short..

Write or call the town/city clerk where you were born and ask how much a copy will cost.
When you get that information send a check to cover the cost of the certificate and give them your date of birth so they can look it up and prepare it for you.
To find the clerk's office go to Google and look up the town/city and get their address and phone number there.

You have the call or fax the hospital where you were born at. I think you have to pay a small fee to get it. Best of luck.

Go the hell home and stay there. There was no reason to run away. You were a coward to do such a stupid thing.

Well, 17 is an adult. You have to contact the State of Florida and have them mail it to you. Here's a link to the agency you want.
