Do the people from Northern Ireland consider themselves British or Irish?

It depends. I'm from there and don't like to say that I'm either, as labels here are politically motivated and my family was never very political. I have a British passport and the main TV channels here are British, but I go down south regularly and my mum is from the south. I suppose I'm "Northern Irish", whatever that means.

Depends who you ask. That's part of the reason for the conflict (that and religious differences).

NB Northern Ireland is officially part of Great Britain, the Republic of Ireland is a separate country. Half the people in NI want to be part of the RoI and half want to stay in GB. Hence the problems.
