if there were no power of judicial review, how could the people be sure that members of the government obey the limitations set upon their powers by the constitution??

There would be no way. That is why we have judicial review.

People could not be sure of too much without the review process, that is why it is important.

That's why the Bush administration selects mouthpieces to serve as AG. Bush might as well quit his day job as president and be the AG.
