If its just about going to school, file financial aid after the baby is born and you will automatically be considered indepent which will boost aid. Im 20 and have a 2 1/2 year old. I do have a tuition waiver which covers basic tuition but from being an independent I also get ever normal grant you can get and about $1600 in excess aid a semester. I have a full time job so I dont live off of it or anything but I go to school completely free.

Start by calling WIC they should have some idea of local programs, and go from there. The welfare office should also help, even if you don't qualify for welfar per se.

I don't live in CA, but here I think it's called Department of Economic Services. Search online.

You can get WIC, and you can get daycare assitance. If you want to better your education you can get financial aid to help pay for it.
