To greentea, thank you for your concern but i am not troubled whatsoever.
To everybody: The question is: standing tonight, at the edge of the cliff, which would YOU choose?... it does not have to be about suicide. actually i did not think about this possibility until some of you guys brought it up. to me jumping in this context is more about taking risks, going for it... of course you are free to interpret it as you wish and use this interpretation for your answer (which regards only you). i know what i would do. i am asking you what you would do. or is it against the rules to ask something we already know the answer to and we are just curious as to what others would choose?

A question like that will normally come from a troubled person. Life is very precious you don't realise it until you are about to lose it. I am a advance cancer patient waiting to die much as I don't want to. I pray and thank God everyday for a brand new day! Remain there, you will be safe. God bless you.

Technology now shows us that it all depends on prior neurological firings. Why are they predetermined? IMO no decision is based on what is going on in the moment. There has to have been a large number of prior experiences of the mind which sets it all up. That is, the vibration rate is only slightly affected by that last straw that broke the camel's back so to speak. Sometimes we jump, sometimes we don't. When I have jumped, and it has happened faily often, I always know that it is both correct and inevitable. At the same time I am well aware that the more superficial me would never jump. Looking back at those times, I have never ever regretted jumping. It does not feed my vanity because I know that there was never any real choice. My soul made me do it.

The urgency of the decision is played upon the fool.
The future comes, stand or jump, no one's excepted from the rule. The choice is no longer what you'll do, but to decide at all is what's up to you. To dive into the sheltered abyss, or on the cliff and face the weather, what's safe for one is not for others. Though we're apart, we can stand together, staring down the future, a band of sisters and brothers.

tough question. I have taken flying leaps a number of times in my life. I have fallen flat on my face a few times, and a few times i have done amazing things. But I have never regretted either, because ultimately I learned and grew from each experience.
I have leaped out of desperation, and out of curiosity and a desire for adventure. I have leaped simply because I could.
I have also chosen to stay put a few times. For me, I make the choice at the time, with the information I have at hand, and try to do whats best. But you can never know exacly what the future holds.....
my advice.. weight the options, and do as you think best for your life, and dont beat yourself up over the outcome. You can always make another choice, and try again , a bit wiser next time.
life is a blast, because it is unpredictable. The future is ALWAYS unknown, so i guess we all make at least little leaps every day.

ok well this really depends. is this like a jaggedy rocky cliff, like if i jump off it i'll end up with a spike up my backsaide, or is this fairy land kind of jump and we'll give u candy?
can i jump far enough? thats a tuffy, if i jump really far can i skip all the crap stuff and get straight to the good stuff?
wat about if someone walks along and tries to stop me, is that the devil or like, is this real life and their trying to stop me commiting suicide. what happens if the cliff is REALLY high up and i'm so scared i cant jump. is that bad? or is that humane? what happens if the cliff has no bottom and u keep falling... for eternity.....
i think the future for me jumping of a cliff is my body splattered along the rock like strawberry jam, but hey! if u like jam, go ahead and..... jump.

Before answering this question, I tend to analyze it a little.
'Standing tonight' would mean to me there is darkness around. Darkness represents doubt and uncertainty. Consider the feelings one has when he is in such a situation!
'Edge of the cliff' would mean to me there is danger between life and death, choice between good and bad, an immediate decision to be made. This could also mean to my situation in life: for example my job, my relationship with someone.
In such a case, I got to trust my good heart and mind what is best to be done. If I am prompted with my conscience to stay there...I will stay on. But if I am prompted by my conscience to jump to the unknown...then I will jump for it. It is my responsibility and I am answerable for it!

I will take a few steps backward and brace myself to jump forward . Meaning, I am at the edge , knows almost what lies beyond the cliff, so take a few step backward into safety to gather additional tools, resources and speed and then plunge forward . Better prepared , this way then taking a plunge straight ahead in the first instance .

I would say jump because life is full of challenges and risks. If you are not willing to go outside the box and jump in w/both feet and go into the unknown, life would be very dull. So I would say go ahead and JUMP! and see what happens.....
