The Tudors is a dynasty in the renaissance time in England. During the reign of King Henry VIII, the historic life about Henry and his 6 wives that he killed just because they don't conceived a boy to heir the throne. He has one boy finally but died from an ill. This is the main center of the story: Honor. He is also the father of queen Elizabeth, the protestant and Mary, the queen after the death of Henry.

The Tudors were a ruling family, composed of six monarchs, who ruled England and Ireland from 1485 to 1603, at which point Elizabeth I, the last of the Tudors, having no heirs, bequethed the throne to her nephew, James I.

The show is called "The Tudors" because it is about Henry VIII, the infamous king of six wives. The show is about the time before he divoraced his first wife, Cathrine of Aragon, to marry Anne Boleyn.
