Do you think alot of soldiers feel this way? Or not?

Appreciate if you'd actually read the thing first.

... And if you didn't read it, you really don't need to tell me so. Kind of pointless.

You would have to ask all the soldiers to find the answer to your question.

There are other viewpoints.

This particular soldier mentioned victory, but failed to define victory.

Wars must be fought under defining circumstances. This one is not.

Our military/political solution to build a gigantic wall to separate off the Sunni's was opposed by the locals. How about getting their input first? It is their country after all too.

Here's what I'm tired of. Politicians bringing their buddies with no training into important jobs --- DEFSEC, FEMA director, AG, etc.

Rummy was the worst DEFSEC possible, he bungled Iraq to no end. Now, what choices are there? Either "stay the course", which means there is no end in sight, or "cut and run", which means we force a calendar draw out date.

There isn't any middle ground. It's not like WWII, where we can build some more aircraft carriers and develop the island hopping victory strategy in the Pacific, or stage another Normandy invasion.

This is why people shouldn't blame Bush for losing the war. It is the lazy soldiers who are making us lose. They deserve all the casualties they get for such a substandard peformance on the battlefield.

There are those that are gung-ho for war. There are those that are not for wars. You know which of these 2 categories is in power now.
