after you inherit the genesfrom your parents, how is it produced? form an organ or what? does it split like DNA??

as an infant, hemoglobin is produced in your liver and spleen. as you get older, the long bones take over production. hemoglobin is a protein molecule composed of 2 beta and 2 alpha molecules attached to a central heme molecule. it doesn't split like dna, but is a protein produced by the genes.
