Calling all brilliant creative geniuses!?
Calling all fabulous, creative people???
Any good ideas for creative entries in a project I have to do for my social studies class? Okay, thats not specific enough. For this project we have to submit weekly 'journals" about the various books we read. For example, I recently made paper dolls of the characters in my book. I have done posters such as movie posters, wanted posters, and missing posters for characters in the books. I'v also done drawings and murals. Stuff like that...Any more ideas? Thanks in advance!
Oh, by the way I'm reading "Puerto Vallarta Squeeze" by Robert James Waller, right now.

Can you use any type of medium you want? Because then the possibilities are endless... you can write like, letters as the main character, newspaper articles about some important event in the book, an advertisement for some important object (even if it sounds silly, just advertise some of its important qualities)... make recipe cards to create a formula for an important event in the book (for example, a recipe for the Holocaust would include 6 million jews, 1 adolf hitler... you get the idea), you can make maps, graphs, collages (pics from magazines), etc...

you may make a burrito- form meal. start up by making use of cooking up some brown rice. Slice the chicken into strips and fry interior the oil it with some spices (failing that, salt and pepper.) try this for about 5 minutes till cooked. Slice the bell pepper (and a few greater vegetables in case you like) into strips and chop an onion. upload those to the chicken and prepare dinner for yet another 5 minutes or so. meanwhile, pull aside the cheese string. positioned many of the chicken and veggie mixture right into a tortilla. upload some rice and a few cheese string on perfect, and a few bitter cream too in case you like. Wrap up and serve!

Maybe you could write or video tape an alternate ending you would have liked to see in the book. Or draw an alternate cover to the book.

Love the author!

Let's see... anytime food or drink is mentioned, perhaps recipes?

Also, good writing such as his often includes "smells." Can you find any scratch-n-sniff stickers to include? Or even if he mentions a woman's perfume.

if he mentions the feel or texture of something... leather, sand, anything... you may include a scrap/sample/piece of it.

cool project! Good luck!

Make an outfit for one of the main characters and go to school in it.

How about sound? You could get people to be the different characters and do fake "interviews" with them. Or dress them up and do video interviews.
