I am looking to buy an off-plan property as an investmet. I am new to this game and would really appreciate some tips. Im due to pay the registartion fee on Wednesday and am wondering whether a solicitor needs to be involved at this point? Any help would be much appreciated! Thank You :-)

A good rule of thumb in real estate is hire an attorney before you part with any money or sign anything.

The two things you want to avoid hearing from an attorney are "I told you so" and "Had you called me before you signed that I would have told you so."

I doubt seriously that these principles are different in the UK, or anywhere else in the world for that matter.
