You've hit the nail on the head, in my opinion. Being an anti-feminist female, I am ashamed of what women have become. The original feminist movement was an important one...and much was achieved on our behalf. But the torch was picked up by a selfish group who are interested in spreading crap about the wonders of womanhood...all the while, taking shots at men. Men - who built the civilization we live in. Men - who created all that women have today. And they now want their piece of the pie. Actually, no, they want to own and run the pie. It's embarassing and shameful.

I want equality for everyone, not just me because that isn't equality. I am pretty sure I have answered this question before but I will do it again. First off, I want whoever is best qualified to serve as president, man or woman. Also, I don't want ANYBODY to be included in selective service, man or woman. I want equal pay for the work I do. I don't know what that has to do with women choosing to be homemakers. I have chosen to get a career, but what other women do with their lives is their business. I think men should also have the option of being homemakers. Why not? Why should one's genitalia determine their options? As far as the sleeping around thing, I don't, but I don't care if other people do. I think it is wrong that there is a double standard where men are pressured to have a lot of sex with different partners, and if a girl does it she is a s.lut. I think society should take pressure off the men, the stigma off the women who have a lot of casual sex, and just let people do what they want.

There will always be rotten apples in every bunch. Opportunists exist amongst women and men alike. However, the majority of women (many of whom are quite silent in society) just want equality. Most women I know hate domestic violence regardless of who the abuser is. I know of MORE than one woman who gave up the allowable amount of pregnancy leave as was allowed by Ontario law to their husbands so that they could have time off. My second cousin (who is a man) even stayed at home with the young children while his wife worked. It was a mutual agreement that neither one had a problem with. Female and male sluts are every where. If they are too rude with you in the workplace, you have a right to report them. I know of a woman who was reported and she ended up quitting. Abusers can only get away with their indiscretions if you let them.

everyone only wants equality when it benefits them. it is not soley women or men, it is everyone. when a man sleeps around and is thought of as a hero, this is not equal to what a woman would be labeled, but man cares not, because its benefiting him. and when a woman performs an act of sexual harrassment, or domestic violence its not that she expects the man to "take it" but no one wants to be told on, no one expects to be told on. same if a man performs these acts. and women making the first move is not a real big deal anymore, if a chick happens to make the first move, great, if not, great. who cares.

Equality isn't about who works or who doesn't; who sleeps around and who doesn't. It's about being presented with the same respect and opportunities as the other gender. In my house, I work outside the home more than my husband and he tends to our children more than I do. We are both working, just in different ways. We give each other respect and encourage one another to succeed in our different career choices as well as in our personal endeavors. I still expect him to open the door for me and I still view him as the strong man that he is. Don't confuse equality with wanting to be like the opposite sex. It's about respect and that includes men and women regardless of the situation.

What in the he ll are you caring on about?
1. Sexual harrassment-NOBODY WANTS IT, MEN AND WOMEN EQUALLY
2. Working: NOBODY WANTS TO WORK BUT WE ALL HAVE TO. IF THERE WAS A WAY FOR EITHER PARTY TO STAY HOME WHILE THE OTHER WORKED WE WOULD DO IT, ESPECIALLY IF THERE ARE KIDS INVOLVED, MEN AND WOMEN EQUALLY.
3. Players: FRANKLY, NOT EVERYONE WANTS TO BE A PLAYER, THERE ARE PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO ARE PERFECTLY COMFORTABLE NOT SLEEPING AROUND WHILE OTHERS PREFER NOT TO BE TIED DOWN, MEN AND WOMEN EQUALLY.
4. Flirting: SOME PEOPLE ARE COMFORTABLE MAKING THE FIRST MOVE WHILE OTHERS ARE SHY, MEN AND WOMEN EQUALLY.
PEOPLE IN GENERAL DIFFER BUT IT IS NOT DUE TO THEIR GENDER. MORE OFTEN IT IS DUE TO THEIR UPBRINGING AND JUST PLAINLY WHO THEY ARE AS INDIVIDUALS.

You know something I have to be down dirt honest with you; I'm as anti-feminist as you can get. The way women have become these days makes me embarrassed at times to admit that I am a women. What did they expect when they went out for equal rights. You want to be equal with a man you're going to get treated like a man; either step up to the plate and play ball or go sit back down in the bleachers.

No the truth is that most women think that they are superior to men. After all girls learn in school; that they are smarter then most boys. Learn in early life that they can hurt a male by attacking below the belt. And later on most women know that they will outlive their man. Only men go to war, die in the heat of the sun. In theory women think that they are superior to men cause they know that they can have it all.

These women you speak of believe in equality, but only in the workplace. Otherwise, they don't take it seriously enough. I'm one of the feminists who demands absolute equality (with respect to biological differences, of course).

I'm with ya on this, sadly. Too many angry feminists. If you were to one day make everything equal, they would still want more and complain.
