I just thought that if anything happened it was because the guy got it started.
But, that is usually how it happens, neither person is truly aware of who did what first. It kind of happens between two people at the same time. It is a look in the eyes, one person moves in closer to the other. You both respond at the same time, you aren't thinking about any doubts because you just go with it knowing the other person wants a hug or kiss too.
On a blind date, I suppose if you both like each other you could hug, but I find that a little too early. Perhaps a kiss on the third date, but even that could be too early. It all depends on how much chemistry the two people are actually feeling for each other. That is where the true answer lies.
