They should have some color within a week or so of birth and full adult color within about 4-6 weeks. All this depends on many factors and can obviously vary from brood to brood.

Give them a week or rwo. By then they should be large enough for you to get a better look at them (and they will probably be more willing to stay out in the open). There colors probably won't change dramatically. As for feeding, don't overfeed. They are tiny and won't eat much...and anything they don't eat will foul the water. They are going to take a few months to get close to their adult size no matter what you do. How will you sell them? Most pet shops will probably not give you anything but store credit. Be aware that you won't get rich breeding platies...They are just too common. But they are pretty fun to watch develop. Enjoy them as they grow.

if the temperature of your tank is warm, it should within a week. most fish grow faster and shorter in warm water viceversa.

You should see the orange of it in a week. Mine were.
