Barkley says the Cavs won by 15 and did it wrong, But the Pistons won by 8 and did it right. What is wrong with Chuckles.

Vegas has been setting odds ever since sports were invented. Regardless of who is injured, Cavs were favored by 11 and won by 15, Pistons favored by 8 1/2 and won by 8. So to answer your question, Barkley or anyone else who thinks Cleveland should have won by 30 is an idiot.

The fact that the Cavs won by 15 against a weakened, injury ridden team shouldn't impress anybody who really understands b-ball. Under those circumstances the Pistons win was far more impressive. That being the case Barkley was right.

And Sir Charles is far from being an idiot. He is, in fact, a well-read, intelligent, articulate man, a 'been there, done that' man who combines knowledge with experience.

He has a big mouth and does piss off many but that should not detract from his knowledge of the game. As far as he sometimes saying something goofy and off-the-wall, that is simply part of the act, the persona that has kept him in the spotlight. It has worked for him just like it has worked for Terry Bradshaw and other sports personalities who have public careers beyond the court and playing field.

No, he is not. What Barkley was saying is that by winning by 15 you make the Wizards want to play even harder and it seemed as if the Cavaliers were "rubbing" it in. The Pistons won by 8 and it seemed that they almost lost their 'mojo' at the end, but they played like champions have to. You can't back too much on the first round when you are the Pistons. You play better than your competition, but you aren't apt to leave it all on the court because you have better teams down the line.

No, he is just something that is rare in this day and age...............

He is a man with not only his own views and opinions, he also is not afraid to express them out of fear of public backlash.

I agree with Charles, the Cavs should have won by 30, especially against an Washington team without
Agent Zero & Caron Butler!

When Guys talk sports it is a lot like politics - - - why does it need to make sense? Chuckles has his particular take on these things, it is his nature, he likes to be a contranarian - - - it gets him laughs & attention - - it has and continues to work for him. That said, C Barkley is actually quite bright, a contemplative thinker, weighs out matters, maybe not a flash brilliant intellect but solid thinking. Hope he gets intio politics.

Peace.....

It is not about the score. He is talking about the way each team approached the game. The Pistons used their strengths and the Cavs won with their weak links.

He knows Labrone will do what he never could. Take a team to the championship. On his shoulders. So it a bit of jealousy.
