Babylon 5 was AWESOME. Star Trek is the source though. I won't say that Babylon 5 was better than ANY Star Trek series, but I know it was better than some Star Trek series.

Both shows have good and bad episodes. In general I'd say if you asked me if Babylon was better than a particular Star Trek series I could get you a better answer.

Babylon 5 was hard to follow, boring and the computer graphics were very cheesy. It just wasn't very good.

bab 5 was good, but it was hard to follow at times. too many offshoots between races and such. trek was a continual timeline.
