Awesome question!
I always forget about Maine, and Rhode Island.....you never hear anything about those 2 states.
My mom never knew that New Mexico was a state, haha I laughed for days when she told me that.

not sure what the question is. if you are asking which state i wish didn't exist, it would be utah, hands down. if you are asking which states are easy to forget, probably the new england states. i am living in north dakota, and people often ask me which state that is in. honest.
