turn the ignition key to the on position and hit the accelerator pedal 3 times and it's reset.

I not sure off hand. Some you push the reset button when the change oil is showing, hold it in until it clears. Another is with the key on and not starting push the gas pedal to the floor about 3 times, May try holding the brake too when pressing the pedal.

For most GM vehicles, key on, but don't start, press the accelerator pedal 3 times and the light will reset.

If not, and you have the information center, scroll through there looking for a reset on the display, and hold the button in when you find it until it clears.

I think it needs to be done with a scan tool (tech 2). Thats how ive done it in the past but on 02 and 03's. Try the trip, reset, or whatever, if that dont work take it to your mechanic.

Turn you key to the ön"position but don't start it. Fully depress the throttle 3 times. The light will blink and then go out.

Sambo, You will find the procedure for that in your owner's manual in the maintenance section. It's generally pretty easy. Just follow the instructions they give you . If you don't have the manual, call the service manager at the dealership and they should help walk you through it.

the easiest wy is to take it to an auto parts store and have them run a check on the computer and when they do have them reset it for you. Most wil dothis check for free and they will usually do te reset for free as well.

Check manual in glovebox.Press trip till oil life shows,then hold reset.If it's like my 'vette.

my question for you is why do you want to reset it? did you have the oil changed?
