When I visit my family's house, they have a wireless network. Whenever I try to connect, it asks me for a network (or WEP or WPA) key. How do I find what this key is?

It is printed on the bar code label, on the bottom of their modem

It is not likely to be printed anywhere, I wish people would not guess. The WEP or WPA is set up by whoever installs the wireless unit. You would need to ask your family, they should have this information, if not they should get it from the installer.

Ask them. If they don't remember what their wireless key is, log into the router configuration and check under Wireless Security.
