There are a couple people that I would want to walk a mile in there shoes, they have a totally different view on some things and I can't understand it. If I could "walk a mile in their shoes" then I might possibly be able to understand them better. For the most part though I am quite comfortable in my own shoes.

If I truly sought an understanding of what someone else goes through, then yes, I would truly want to..and if they walked, I'd at least get to experience that for awhile. I'm in a wheelchair, so I'd probably choose to walk in the other person's shoes, praying they fit and weren't too big or too small.

No, I would not! I think we all have a path to walk and none of them are that easy! Why would I want to experience my hardships and someone elses too? Thers is nothing wrong with empathy! But, that's as far as I want to take it!!
