I'm not familiar with the song that you mention, but "disco" dancing is indicative of the 80's. It evolved into a couple dance called Hustle. You can learn it in a ballroom studio.

Lambada was a big hit in the 80s too.

Watch the video to Love is a Battlefield by Pat Benatar. There is alot of 80's choreography in that video. Also watch early Madonna videos. If you can watch American Bandstand from the 80's you will see choreography from that era. I hope that I helped you out.

Dancing styles just seemed to keep carrying over from the later '60s through the 70's, 80's, 90's and to today. So it wasn't much different. Listen to the music and move with it!
